Rural Conversion
Renovation and extension
Scheme
Reconfiguration of 4 bedroom property / home improvement
Location
Tring, Hertfordshire
The client wanted to demolish the existing rear conservatory which was outdated and replace it with a new kitchen extension and reconfigure the ground floor layout which included opening up the hallway to provide linear views out into the rear garden from the entrance. The hallway was reconfigured so that the staircase was more accessible with built in joinery and seating areas.
The rural setting of the house overlooks countryside views at the rear and so the garden had a new landscape and patio makeover. The house also included new air source technology and the plant and kits were added to the first floor.
The house received a full electrical re-wire and the main bedroom was updated with a new large sized ensuite with pocket sliding doors.
In all the project worked with the existing fabric to reimagine a slightly more creative and spacious layout that suited the demands of the clients family needs.
